At Branching Out, we provide a supportive, small-group environment. Our sessions focus on practical outdoor skills, teamwork, and building confidence through hands-on experience.
Young people can take part in activities or work on longer-term projects that help them develop resilience, independence, and a sense of achievement.
We prioritise a calm, no-pressure atmosphere with plenty of time and space to build friendships, where everyone feels welcome particularly those with special educational needs or social anxiety. Sessions include shared meals, full safety guidance, and opportunities for camping and residential experiences.
Branching Out also offers a pathway into becoming a volunteer apprentice with the forest school, giving young people the opportunity to continue developing their skills, confidence, and leadership within a supportive outdoor setting.
